The crust and filling call for a different set of ingredients because you’ll make both from scratch. Cut a slice and eat it as it is or serve it with gluten free ice cream.
10. Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin pie is a Thanksgiving and autumn classic. This creamy and rich dish consists of a unique filling of pumpkin and spices sitting on top of a buttery, golden crust.
This pumpkin pie recipe also has a homemade crust and filling. Thus, from top to bottom, everything is gluten free, delicious, and authentic. For the crust, you’ll need butter, ice water, sour cream, white vinegar, gluten free baking flour, sugar, and salt.
You’ll need sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, pumpkin, eggs, and evaporated milk for the pumpkin pie filling. Swap the evaporated milk for coconut milk if you want.
